Fisher Brothers Announces 18k Square Foot Lease at 299 Park Avenue

Oak View Group will partially occupy the 20th floor within the recently renovated Midtown Tower

NEW YORK, NY (July X, 2023) – Fisher Brothers, a fourth-generation real estate firm that owns, manages and operates unique spaces across the country, today announced that Oak View Group, LLC (“OVG”), a sports and entertainment advisory, development and investment company, has signed a 10-year, 18,187 square foot lease at 299 Park Avenue. OVG will partially occupy the 20th floor within the newly renovated Midtown office tower this fall.

“We are thrilled to welcome Oak View Group to 299 Park Avenue, a prime asset located in the heart of New York City,” said Ken Fisher, Partner at Fisher Brothers. “Close proximity to Grand Central Station, unmatched access to public transit and a vibrant neighborhood will ensure Park Avenue and midtown Manhattan remain a desirable location for businesses and their employees for many years to come.”

Tim Leiweke, Chairman and CEO of OVG, said: “We made a commitment to build our flagship office in New York City as part of our expansive growth with Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, NAVARRO’S and OVG360 hospitality divisions.  299 Park Avenue is a premium building in one of the most sought after locations in New York City, and this new space represents what we’ve been able to build and be proud of.”

Indicative of the firm’s commitment to providing a best-in-class office experience, Fisher Brothers invested $20 million in a large-scale capital improvement project at 299 Park Avenue in recent years that transformed the interior of the lobby space and exterior facade and upgraded the building’s elevators. In partnership with the Rockwell Group, Fisher Brothers created a grand, bright and inviting interior with hotel-like design, quality and finishes. The renovations and upgrades to the lobby boast several design features that culminate to create a luxury hospitality feel, including blackened stainless-steel trims and accents, Italian marble flooring, and soft up lighting in the base. Furthermore, the entire renovation centers around a large-scale, dynamic digital art display. Created by LAB at Rockwell Group, the 60-foot-long LED art installation Living Canvas brings an ever-evolving cinematic art experience to Park Avenue.

For years, Fisher Brothers has taken a proactive approach to tenant health and well-being, undertaking building-wide infrastructure upgrades, like hospital-grade air filtration systems and Bluetooth technology for a contact-free entry experience. Fisher Brothers was recognized for achieving WELL Health Safety Rating certification from the International WELL Building Institute across its entire New York City commercial portfolio, including 299 Park.

Marc Packman, Head of Leasing, Charles P. Laginestra, Director of Leasing, Clark Briffel, Senior Director of Leasing and Josh Fisher, Assistant Director of Leasing at Fisher Brothers led negotiations for Fisher Brothers. OVG was represented by Sacha Zarba, Jeffrey Fischer, and Joseph D’Apice of CBRE. David Falk, Peter Shimkin, Eric Cagner, and Andrew Sachs of Newmark also worked with Fisher Brothers to secure the deal.
