The Méxican Portfolio: Groupo Chartwell

Together with the Getty and de Gunzberg interests, the Fisher family owns 50% interest in one of the largest hotel companies in México. Chartwell de México, operated by the Ancira family as local partners, owns and manages approximately 3,000 rooms throughout México. Well-respected brands in this portfolio include the Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Krystal, and NH Hotels.

Many of these hotels are strategically located in popular and convenient México City locations, such as downtown, the international airport, Cancún, Puerta Villarta, Guadalajara and Monterrey.

Latina, a joint venture between NH Hotels – a Spanish Company and Equity International, an affiliate of Sam Zell – is also a partner in 1,300 of these 3,000 rooms.
